Variety is the spice of life, people say. And the loudest of those people, crowing the phrase to anyone who has ears to hear them, would be Plumelia. As one might guess by their appearance, they only truly flourish in their best potential during spring, and perhaps part of summer — but this fact does not distill their love for all seasons. Even the winter, seemingly bleak and colorless, holds its own special joy within the cycle, and Plumelia can appreciate that. Though capable of thinking deeply and musing about the nature of things, they actively choose not to dwell on such thoughts. To them, the most important virtue is living in the moment. They're not immune to falling on bad times, but with the help of a few simple devices they've come up with, they can press and preserve spring blossoms into books, clothing, and trinkets. Such a thing is both a material and metaphorical way for Plumelia to carry past joys into the present while shedding the burden of whatever may have weighed them down.
