lore notes
- a loner, allied loosely to atem
- formerly one of the original gods atem ascended, a god of life, but willingly departed from the pantheon once conflict began to arise. he didn’t much care for the bickering of his coworkers.
- unknown to most, the origin point of the broken tablet released another curse— one of death and plague, soot and ash, slowly infecting all plants and life near it as it expands
- due to him retaining most of his power since he wasnt exiled or stripped of it, he is immune to the life-affecting curse expanding on the land, and wanders around the area
- many rumor about the dragon in that area, his gaze piercing as the full moon and claws as sharp as daggers. arden is grateful for this rumor, as it helps him keep any curious ones unharmed if they dont dare enter the area
- the origin of these rumors started when arden would scare any wanderers out of the area, to prevent them from getting too close.
- he is unable to reverse the curse with his own power, and thus is trying to find a cure or solution on mortal lands before he turns back to the corruption of his own former friends and fellow gods
- he blames the selfish greed of dragonkind and the gods, as well as the naïve curiosity of the mortals for these curses. he himself doesnt know why he tries to undo it
