this dragon was a travelling dragon, meaning he was passed around through about 9 lairs, and in each lair he was given a new addition to his diary. this ran for about a month before he was finally returned back home. thank you guys for participating!

It's been awhile journal and I have so much to tell you. I'm not even sure I can fit everything on these pages. I made it to Windswept Plateau just fine and it's been busy the whole three days I've been here! This clan is run by three spirals named Siris, Titania, and Oberon. There's always something to do here. I was introduced to all the deity dragons who are closest to their element's god. Most of them were intimidating with the way they looked at you. They make me shiver how they see right through you instead of at you. I think the Icewarden knew because he was the nicest one to me out of everyone. He was the one who tugged me away from asking Plaguebringer so many questions about where she's originally from. He took be away from the busy caverns of the deity dragons to introduce me to the pair of battle dragons next.
These battle dragons were HUGE. They're two imperials named General Cao Cao and Malphas. Both of them were very stern and scary looking. I've never seen scars on dragons before coming here. The General was the one who kept me close and told me what to expect before we traveled into the Ghostlight Ruins. Apparently, most of the dragons I've met came here to earn their right into the clan. Strength is a huge deal. Who knew fighting ghosts all day would be so tiring though! It was a scary experience but then the General gave me an approving nod and I was so happy. Malphas even gave me a nod of approval and apparently that's the code for great job. There's so many dragons that come and go from their clan to go server the Windsinger; and not the deity dragon here either. I fell asleep that night dreaming of the army that must have been here before me. Will I become as strong as them some day? I woke up to a Silky Fanrat being held in front of my face. It was the most scary way to wake up ever! Siris gave it to me to take care of while I'm staying here and guess what? There's another traveling dragon! Duna came here chasing their Blooming Hedgehide and was caught by Siris. The wildclaw is making maps and it was so cool to look through the maps she's created already. Duna was pulled away into the Ghostlight Ruins before she could say much more to me. I'll see here later and hear about her adventures in the ruins when she's back. Siris took me to the nursery to meet all the dragon pairs who put their children up for adoption to see new lairs. It's another huge thing here working with another clan. There's so many huge imperials and twisty spirals! This clan's adoption center is named Nebulous Zephyr and looks like a cool place to wander around in. It got me thinking if maybe someday I'll meet a mate. All the dragons here look so in love and excited to see their children off to new lairs. I guess in their own way, these dragons become traveling dragon to their permanent home. I still have more to do and see. I miss home today. Today's the day I'm leaving and I'm really excited! I'm heading towards the Sunbeam Ruins today. Maybe I'll come back to the Windswept Plateau to visit another lair. Even though I've been so busy exploring and meeting so many new dragons, I really enjoyed taking a moment to relax in the sun with the wind gently blowing against my back. It's really relaxing. I'll miss this Silky Fanrat. He's been so sweet but I was only watching him. There was so many familiars here that I never knew existed before. Onward towards my next adventure! So it's been a while since I was last able to write in here. The sunbeam ruins weren't quite as exiting as I expected them to be, but I still had fun. I'm headed away as I'm writing this, because it turns out I stayed too long. Time passes quicker than it used to.
When I first came here, I expected the dragons to be more friendly, I was almost attacked by a patrol! I had a bit of training from the Windswept Plateau, so I was able to fend them off until they realized I wasn't a threat. They told me they were looking for someone who had gone missing a few days ago, but hadn't been able to find her. As of writing this, she's still missing, sadly. They took me back to their main lair - it turns out this clan is separated into groups, some of the dragons don't even know each other! - and introduced me to their queen, Avalanche. She looked a bit mean, but was pretty nice to me. Some dragon (his name was Snow, I think) showed me around the clan. I met a few of the nobility, they were pretty nice. It turns out most of this clan is run by imperials though, which was a bit scary, how did they avoid stepping on their smaller clanmates? One of the imperials (named Quartz) was really nice, and tried to offer me cookies. I would of accepted, had they not been half as big as I was!
There were some really cool dragons in this clan, I even got to watch a circus performance! They said they usually traveled, but had to stay in this clan for a while because some of their equipment had broken. The ringmaster was friendly as well, but I didn't trust him. He said everything in a way that made me feel like he was lying or being sarcastic...
Also! A couple of dragons took me to the Mire to train me. They were imperials, just like in the last clan, but if possible, were even bigger. I told them that I already knew enough, but they weren't convinced and taught me a lot more than I already knew. I feel strong enough that I could fight a deity now! While we were in the Mire, we found a strange group of fireflies. Distortion, one of the dragons training me, told me that they were magical, and I should stay away. Of course, curiosity got the better of me and I went closer to them anyway. Now I have a bunch of magic fireflies following me everywhere I go. They don't seem to be doing anything to me, so I don't really mind. Distortion says I was lucky, he had known a dragon who was driven mad by fireflies just like mine. I'm not sure how these small bugs could do that, but I'm running out of time to write. A dragon just called me to pack my stuff, onward to wherever else I'm going, I guess. I got a bit lost on the way to the Starfall Isles, but I finally made it to my next stop! When I finally arrived I was greeted by a nice tundra named Lavender. She has little fireflies like me! She says that they were given to her as a good will blessing when this clan moved away from the Viridian Labyrinth. I asked her if she knew anything about going mad from them, but she just giggled and led me to where I'd be staying.
On my way we saw a really big imperial with a shiny little skydancer. Lavender explained that they were Ruby and Citrine, who run the library, which I'm not surprised an Arcane clan has. She said that I could go visit once I get settled in- and after breakfast, of course! It turns out I'm sharing my den with a young pearlcatcher named Solstice. He doesn't talk much, but he seems nice enough. We ate together at breakfast too, while the clan leaders, Eclipse and Anthem, explained the clan routine to me, and cautioned me about some of the members on the outskirts. I'm not sure why I'd have to be careful of them though. If they're members of the clan, they can't be that dangerous, right?
On my way to the library, I saw a big imperial hobbling around. Their wing looked pretty torn up, so I went up to ask if they were ok, only to realize they had five heads! Only one seemed happy to see me, and a wildclaw quickly ran over and shooed me away. He explained that they were an emperor, and that I shouldn't mess with them without permission. I'd never really heard of an emperor, but if they are anything like that, they must be really scary! It looks like I'm on my way to my next stop. I had to pack my things pretty quickly, since a few of the dragons here seem to be rushing me out..
Solstice came to see me off. Before I left, he promised to write me sometime. I'm going to miss this place, but I guess it's time to move on!
