Biography

Vatrel loved frogs ever since he was a hatchling. He would follow them around, hopping just like them. These little adventures he went on gave way to the passion he developed. Deep into forests or by rivers or by caves he followed the frogs. Each time, as a hatchling, he marvelled at not only the frog but his surroundings. It felt so natural for him to be out in the Sornieth adventuring anywhere he went. Though, before he could really get out into the world he still had to come home to his parents. Vatrel was only a hatchling after all, but he very much enjoyed any time he was allowed to explore the area around him.
Vatrel parents always thought of him as a silly child with a weird obsession with frogs that went on mini adventures everyday. They figured he’d grow out of it, but that didn’t happen. As soon as Vatrel was old enough, with a new frog he found and a rucksack, he went out into the world. With anyone he met he was always telling jokes and describing his travels. Through his travels, he not only grew in what he knew of the world, but physically as well. One needed to be strong in order to handle climbing, walking, running away from danger, etc that came with being an adventurer.
Vatrel came home one time after a few years of adventuring. He told his tales of how he came upon ruins in the light flight’s domain, how he had been ambushed by particularly mean beast clans, and new a frog species he found to his parents. His parents didn’t exactly approve of his adventures. Both of them pleaded with him to stay home and see if he could be happy in a safe, non-dangerous place. Vatrel was extremely disappointed in their reaction, but listened to them regardless. One day while walking around the clan, he ran into Thurid. He had heard of her, as it was a smaller, friendlier clan, but seeing her and talking to her was wonderful to him. She was such a fiery dragon, ready for adventure like him but willing to stay put if it meant she could continue helping anyone she could in her clan. She enjoyed his silly nature that his parents often discouraged which was so refreshing. Vatrel became attached to her because of it this. It wasn’t long before he had found a reason to stay safe in a non-dangerous place.
