Dybbuk is a malevolent creature who loves to take advantage of her victims emotions and their inclinations to sin. Softly like the wind she whispers her evil thoughts into her victims mind and heart, and drives them slowly but surely into insanity, and even death.

A strange box appears on the front steps of the Hidden Lantern.

It was already opened ... hatchlings from neighboring villages of the Gemini Clan have gone missing. Umbra was the first to discover the “package” and regarded it in disgust. Whoever left it was selfish and she summoned Aidoneus, leader of the Nightwatch to gather his group to hunt down the one who tried to frame or curse the clan.

She brought the box inside, knowing full well what it was supposed to contain. A dangerous spirit, once subdued by the sealed box, now released, unsupervised now that the box was opened. Probably opened by some foolish being unknowing of what the box contained. Luckily, Umbra was the clan’s Mother Witch; the Head Witch of the clan. Within a couple hours, she was able to summon the spirit that is connected to the box.

A small spirit appeared, a Cursed. Umbra knew what this meant and now knows what became of the missing hatchlings. The spirit’s origin was how she received her name.

Dybbuk is a cruel spirit. Her enjoyment was to cause chaos and panic. She would create poltergeists and fling glass at the tavern’s patrons. Thankfully, with Umbra’s magic, Dybbuk has been subdued once more but instead of being locked within another box; she is now a mere harmless spirit to live within the tavern, albeit a mischievous one who loves to prank others.
