______ Pastel wasn't the most welcome employee at the grocery store, he's less an actual employee and more "everyones collective menace of a cat" who decided he lives there one day. It took weeks of effort from all employees involved to try and get him to find somewhere else to call home but ultimately that failed. The cat won.

He spends most of his time climbing shelves, knocking over displays, hissing at everyone who comes nearby, and generally being a nuisance. Sometimes he steals seemingly random objects and disappears into one of many holes in the ceiling that keep appearing. Strangely he seems to never want to be anywhere near Wispy despite having no prior experience with her as far as the other employees are aware of. But at the same time Pastel doesn't seem to like being near anyone.

______ It was your average day in the grocery store, employees were completing their lists of tasks, customers were doing their shopping. It was a perfect day for Pastel to get to work, for the past few years he has been pretending to have the mind of an average cat in order to fool everyone into letting him roam anywhere he pleases in the grocery store. Ok well almost everywhere, the basement was frustratingly still off limits to him, the one place he wanted to go to this whole time.

He was here to try and release The Incident, simple as that, though this mission was proving to be much harder than he expected. At first he thought of Wispy as just a minor inconvenience at best in his plans, only worrying about the other employees that actually work near the basement. Yet somehow every time he tries to sneak in something always happens to stop him, and it's always Wispy who causes him to be unable to enter the basement. She knows his plans, but she makes no effort to actually kick him out.

Was this just some strange game of reverse cat and mouse to her? Well, just like everyone else he would never know what is going on in her head. But that didn't matter right now because he has the perfect oppurtunity to sneak into the basement, Athos and Khione are distracted with eachother, he heard that Wispy was last seen far away from him. So now was his chance to sneak into the basement through a tunnel he has been digging for the past few weeks.

"Heeeeeeeey what are you doing there?"
He knew whos voice that was, he cringed hard and turned around.
A blindingly bright visage gazed back.
"Nice hole you have here, but that's against the grocery store rules." Wispy calmly said before grabbing Pastel and dragging him out with ease, despite his violent meowing and thrashing.

He heaved out a bitter sigh before leaving, soon he will release the horrors kept in the basement.
