Lorvora
— Only The Dead Can Rest
The Living Must Work —

Born and raised in Mistide, Lorvora joined the Erelun at a young age. Now, she is one of the oldest active members and has absolutely no intention of retiring, either from the garrison completely or to a desk job, any time soon. Lorvora was mentored in the art of magic as well as following the normal recruit training. Naturally gifted with strong magic she learned quickly and rose through the ranks even faster. Now, Lorvora is head of the mage division in Erelun. Though a small group Lorvora only takes in the best and they're nothing to sneeze at as many have learned. She likes to involve herself in every detail of running and maintaining the mages and the garrison as a whole, going so far as to even go out on missions and tasks that most other division heads would assign to their subordinates. While Lorvora chooses the new recruits who join the mage division, she very rarely takes on students of her own. It was quite a surprise (and cause of jealousy) to many when Lorvora chose to teach Fernflower, a young guardian who wasn't even a member of the Erelun. She would like Fernflower to join the garrison, as she sees great promise in her, but she respects her decision.

• Since Lorvora involves herself so deeply in Erelun, many suspect that the garrison is her Charge. She has never said one way or another if this rumor is true.
• She doesn't have much of a sense of humor and rarely smiles. She's not grouchy (usually) and can be quite kind, but jokes and pranks have always struck her as a frivolous waste of time. There's always too much else to do.
• Lorvora's magic is primarily battle-related. Nonetheless, she has taught herself the basics of healing as well as some more nature-based spells such as magical tracking and a handful of spells across many other disciplines. She feels a basic understanding of most schools of magic is extremely important.
• Lorvora appreciates Fernflower's independence and initiative in her magical studies. Even though she's often gone on missions, she knows Fernflower will still be working on whatever she assigned and then some.
• The last third of Lorvora's tail was lost in a fight when she was still a new recruit. She unconsciously keeps her tail close to her body now whenever there's combat.
