Despite being born on Christmas day, this dragon loves plants.

Pinot has dedicated himself to the art of winemaking; he grows fruits and olives to develop his plants into things the most sophisticated can appreciate.

He's something of an anomaly; working alone on his vineyard means that as a nocturne, he doesn't have other dragons to mimic. A lot of his mannerisms are a little peculiar, but he's friendly, and has a delicate sensibility about him. He has become good friends with Gladys; you can tell when she's visited him recently because he'll go on and on for hours about things that would usually take a few moments to explain.

A newer friend of Pinot's is Willa, the spiral florist. While Sencha might be interested in Willa's flowers for tea, Pinot's far more interested in how they can be used to enhance his wines. Nectars and petals alike are worth quite the pretty penny if added to an already delicate vintage.

The friend who visits Pinot the most is probably Coro, the Coatl fruit merchant. She hasn't been able to find better grapes in the Cirocco clan, and he's always eager to get access to fruits that he can't grow in the Shengu Valley
