Aspin

Otora's assistant. He has a penchant for crafting small robotic companions capable of performing simple tasks, as well as miniature flying whirligigs he releases into the air. It's not uncommon to see one of his inventions buzzing about the laboratory, sometimes bumping into objects or... heads. It's a trial and error process.

Aspin perhaps ignores the more amoral aspects of Otora's character to almost naive extents. He keeps himself buried in his work, ignorant to whatever happens around his workshop. Aspin is not particularly social, but is still friendly and outgoing, despite the slight social awkwardness. He has an extremely narrow understanding of the world, his interests limited to the pursuit of science, and will often be utterly incognizant of the fact not everyone else shares his enthusiasm. It could be said that his biggest shortcoming is that he expects everyone to be as intelligent as he is, and thanks to his refusal to simplify his explanations, many things get lost in translation. Aspin has a seemingly bottomless well of energy. In all senses, he's Otora's opposite in all ways except for his keen intellect.

He gets along quite well with Bahari. Otora couldn't care less about their rapport.
