He lives to serve Lumis.

From the time they were both born, Delmar has stayed by the ruler's side at every second he was useful. People call him the Devil; an obedient servant to our God. He always has blood ridden bandages on his scales, but never takes them off. Why is that?

Delmar is known for being the strongest fighter, and will kill at any cost...even if it was just for Lumis' despicable desires. He watches over from Lumis' tower, glaring into the souls of the citizens below. Many who go up there to be punished never come back. Were they banished, or erased from existence?

His companion, Daisy, could never be as strong as him. With her mind she is useless, for he is much smarter, faster, and powerful than she. But Daisy sticks around - she'd rather not see what it's like at the bottom of the chain.

She speaks for him, as if whatever would come out of his mouth would be more sinister than whatever she can muster. And she's not about to terrify us any more than we already are. Elders speculate the reason behind Delmar's silence is that Lumis ripped his tongue out...but I'd rather not find that out myself.
