Echo is eccentric to say the least. She is very loyal to the Lightweaver. She performs morning rituals to greet the Sun and finds nothing so pleasurable as basking in its light. She has recently made a petition along with Horea to move the clan to the Sunbeam Ruins. While she is loyal to the Lightweaver, she also marvels at the night sky and holds admiration for the Shadowbinder.

She differs from most Pearlcatchers in her belief that no dragon is the best dragon when it comes to species. Everyone is equal in Echoes eyes, and she wants nothing more than to be friends with whoever will let her. She tends to babble when she's excited or there's no response from another party, but she listens very well when others speak.

She absolutely loves living in a mixed lair and will tag along after the first dragon she sees, often irritating some of the less patient members of the clan such as Jo who has taken swipes at her for invading her personal space many times, but Echo just comes back for more.

Echo has had two children with Lucius. Her daughter has gone to live in her father's realm while Dusk has taken to his mother. Upon hatching, a little lost Nocturne immediately attached herself to Echo. A new mother and a lover of whoever will let her, she has adopted her. Delphi, as Echo has named her, has already begun to copy Echo's behavior and the Pearlcatcher is excited to teach the little copy-cat her morning ritual to the Lightweaver.

The addition of Horea to the lair has been great for Echo as she now has someone to converse with about the greatness of her deity who won't roll their eyes or wander off.
