Biography

Pharon is a self-proclaimed speaker of the many gods he believes there to be.
It's unsure if Pharon even is his true name, but it's not like he'll ever say anything about. He evades any and all questions regarding his self and past, choosing to speak only of theses so-called 'gods' he worships. Everyone is unsure whether he or his gods should be trusted, as many of them seem less like benevolent deities and more like multiple different forms of the Shade, as what they represent always seem malicious in nature. What's more concerning is the one god he speaks most of, which happens to also be named Pharon, causing questions over his own name. The god Pharon is described as a God of Fear and Darkness. The most concerning fact about the speeches about this god of fear, is how often Pharon wishes for people to see this gods connection to the Shadowbinder. He claims that both are seemingly related in some way due to their domain residing in the shadows. These speeches always seem to unsettle the many shadow dragons, who he claims to envy, as they have a closer connection to the Shadowbinder -and in turn the god Pharon- than he does. Many of the shadow dragons, and to an extent the other dragons that have chosen to reside in the Shadowbinder's domain, are mostly unsettled and upset that the deity they have pledged allegiance to is being compared to a possible deity of the Shade. Misu has had to stop his speeches on multiple occasions, on account of unsettling the dragons she has promised to watch over.
While he has a seemingly happy persona on the outside, he secretly despises Misu.
He has been planning to overthrow her from the leading position of the clan/village a while after he "joined" the village. This has proven to be difficult due to the fact that he is not very liked by anyone else because of his initial introduction to the clan. He started off by attempting to give a speech about his gods. This is when he first meets Misu, who during the first few weeks of him being apart of the clan, he seemingly admired and respected. But soon enough her politely requesting him to stop with his speeches, as they made many others uncomfortable, turned into her demanding he stop speaking of his deities to people who obviously didn't want to hear about them. While she isn't usually prone to anger, the stress of managing a clan mostly by herself along with constant complaints about the same disruptful imperial had run her patience thin. While she had apologized later on about her outburst, Pharon lied to her about accepting the apology and felt that she didn't genuinely mean it and that she thought ill about his deities. He puts on a facade of respecting Misu and the others but he plans to overthrow Misu and if it happens to not work out, he has a back-up plan of creating and leading an emperor to the village. Though he hopes it doesn't come to that, he hopes that he can get everyone else to see from his eyes and to see how great the gods he speaks of are. While he genuinely believes Misu to be a good leader, he respects her abilities to do so, he just feels that they should listen to his words regarding the many gods the seemingly don't know of.
Though many residents of Ebonbrooke disregard Pharon's speeches, there are very few
who seek out his residence to humor his speeches out of pity or curiosity. Those few tend to be incredibly kind, or want to see what he's talking about and determine if these gods are dieties of the Shade and whether he's Shade touched. Most of those who are kind and wish for Pharon to feel welcomed, mostly seek out Pharon to allow him an outlet to speak his mind about his gods. Those few originally included only Aibrean, Noxdra, Alastaire, Aethos, Notus, Andis and Naris. The most prominent visitors, however, had their own reasons for visiting him. Ispan mostly visits out of kindness, but also because she feels he's not eating heathily and she's also a tad bit curious about who these gods are and what they represent. Thyra visits him to question whether he knows anything about her sister's... condition, as she believes it has something to do with the Shade. Saros visits him mostly because he genuinely enjoys Pharon's company, as he knows a great deal about stars himself, and has quite a few stories about his gods that relate to the stars. The most interesting visitor happens to have been a small hatchling that blended in to the shadows. Upon further inspection, Pharon recognized the hatchling as being from Erebos and Lavenza's recent clutch of eggs. The small hatchling, while shy at first, introduced himself as Phantom, and revealed that he had learned of Pharon and his stories from Jack who he had befriended along with his sister. His parents and others around them told him to not visit Pharon for any reason. Phantom's sister had listened but his own curiosity had been piqued. He decided to sneak out when his parents were asleep and planned to ask about Pharon's stories. Pharon, always in a mood to enlighten others on who his gods were, eagerly told stories that he considered to be the most basic and helpful when it came to understanding some of the stories that branched out from the main ones. As he was finishing speaking about one of his stories, he noticed that while it was already late when Phantom visited him, it was getting nearly to the end of the night and he felt that Phantom's parents wouldn't enjoy Pharon telling their young son about his many deities and he also knew that since Phantom was so young, he needed his sleep. So Pharon decided that he would allow Phantom to visit him once a week whenever he could during the night. Everytime Phantom came by, Pharon promised to tell him many of his stories and when he grew older, he would explain their meanings to him if Phantom wished to know. Pharon told Phantom not to tell anyone that he was telling Phantom about these stories because not many people would approve of that.
