“You won't meet a hunter more capable than I.” Wind magic is often seen to be a flighty, frivolous thing. Making windchimes dance, lifting the air beneath a traveler's wings, perhaps conjuring a storm at the most extreme. None of these things really appealed to Shavokh as he learned to harness his magical power - they seemed silly, unprofitable. But what else could one do with a spot of wind? As he traveled one day, though, he was beset by a beast. Something he would have avoided if he could, perhaps with a burst of air to propel him away, but it was on him before such a strategy would have helped. Its claws pinned his shoulders, rank breath puffing over his face - breath. With a simple pull of his power, he stole it. The air rushed from the creature's lungs, from around its head, leaving it in a breathless void as it wheezed and choked its last above him. It was surprisingly easy, the whole thing, and the nearby town paid him handsomely for the head of the creature that had been plaguing their roads for so long. And so he had a career - stalking beasts that fetched a high price, especially for beautifully unmarked pelts and undamaged bones. ♥ NAME (relationship) Etiam sed ullamcorper ipsum.
