Umctre

Epiadelphas is his charge.

Umctre found Epiadelphas wandering around alone as a tiny hatchling. Umctre hadn't found his charge yet- and realized that he'd found his charge when he saw the hatchling. He took Epiadelphas back to his clan, and gave the boy a name as well adopting him as his own blood. When the elders of their clan realized that Epiadelphas wasn't....normal they banished Umctre along with what they called was an "other" when the guardian refused to abandon his charge. Umctre realized that his clan's elders were right- that his son/charge was different, and after encountering another hive on their travels and seeing the similarities between Epiadelphas and a fully grown drone realized he was a hive. But strangely- also displayed empathy. Umctre killed the spiral drone Epiadelphas was attempting to interact with out of fear that the drone would attack the hatchling- or try to assimilate him.(though Umctre wasn't sure if that would work since his son had been born in a hive, OriginForme's) Now the two are traveling together trying to find a place in the world. Umctre's protective nature -and unreasonably sharp claws- making him the perfect guardian to keep this unusual little hive safe.
