"The Bright Lights of the Fireflies are beautiful...."

Azurite was very young when she first learned she had an obsession with insects. She absolutely loved watching the way they crawled across the ground or flitted about in the air. Her absolute favorite insect was the firefly, she was facinated by the way that they sparkled in the summer evening twilight.

She began to travel to the different areas of the world, seeking out different insects and their habitat.....making notes and ended up creating a small encyclopedia on the various different types. It was something she loved, but she did not have a place to call home. Her obsession caused other dragons to look at her strangely and whisper about how she was strange and weird. It wasn't until she found her way to Adelaide's territory that she found a place to display her love, and where the dragons wouldn't look at her as if she had grown a head on her tail.

Adelaide quickly took to Azurite's obsession, making sure that the Pearlcatcher had a place to keep all her notes and displays. And she also funded Azurite's various traveling, as the dragon still wished to move around to gather more notes on various insects. It was Adelaide that noticed that while Azurite had a love for insects, it also seemed that insects loved Azurite. She was always surrounded by some sort of insect, but usually it was fireflies.
