Night was always meant to be a leader. It was in his blood. Very Independent. Or perhaps even too independent. As a hatchling, he once wandered so far he ended up all the way on the tempest spire, and he was all the way from an arcane nest. He never really accepted himself as a dragon of the arcane flight, it was unnatural to him. In his adolesence, he decided he would leave his family behind and head to the shadow territory. He changed his birthname, Keiran to Night. No one questioned where he came from or who he was. He was merely a shadow, a loner always on the run. He lowered torwards the ground where he saw a running brook. He, a giant compared to most dragons felt an unnerving aura in the air. All was still. Night drank from the brook, the water glimmering from the moon's reflection in the water. He perked, his body naturally stiffing itself. Night always had the fight sense before flight, perhaps that made him more of a fool. Suddenly, Night felt claws pierce his back and then he was out. *** Night woke up in a cave, only the deities knew where. His back was stiff. Then, suddenly he remembered exactly what happened and everything came together. He darted his head around the cave. "looks like someone had a nice nap, hm?," a nearby voice called. "Yea, sure if you mean being knocked out cold. Come out," Night remarked. "One second. Also, I can promise I was not the one who did this to you. Might have been a beastclan member, they often roam through here." He had only heard of this dragon breed in lore as a hatchling. She was a Skydancer, Large feathered wings, the most clear eyes.. Night shook that idea from his head. She came over and wrapped him with bandage cloth. He flinched at the touch of the cold water. "Chill." Night Snorted. As moons passed, the two became inseparable. Night had finally been able to fly again. He thought that they could have a future together. She never questioned Night's past, and she gained feelings and respect for Night. "My name is Galactica,"she said, To which he replied "and I am Night"  |
