Friendly Rival

Impulsive and reckless, Juarez is a skilled fighter having been trained by the greatest warriors in Sonora and also isn't any slouch in magic proficiency. His Blinding slash is an excellent compliment to the brawling, claw to claw combat style he developed.

Having spent his childhood getting into fights with the local thugs and later with the mercenaries that hung round the clan. Juarez values justice and loyalty above all else, therefore finds himself at odds with the mercs, who place loyalty to themselves without a care to morality. He cannot understand why they are being integrated into the ranks of the Sonoran army.

As a skilled fighter and son of two commanders Juarez was expected to follow in their footsteps but his hubris and entitlement led the commanders to prevent him from advancing to the rank of Officer despite having qualified to do so. Citing his attitude he was put on an auxiliary team of other probationary graduates until they deemed his bad attitude was fixed.

Battle style
Short range, close combat, burst magic attacker

Though raised and trained by the master Mage Oaxaca and the Long range archer Sunset, Juarez has no special talent in either. He prefers to fight using his own physical strength, hand to hand, and claw to claw combat. While not as adept as his siblings in magic, he has learned to use magic his own way. Integrating bursts of magic hits into his combos, hoping to catch his enemies off guard. If needed he also sports a short sword and has proficiency in short range one handed weapons.
Juarez is also quite comfortable in his dragon form as he is in his neutral form and is not shy about using his dragon form for battle.

The Bad Batch
Juarez and Athena flunk out of their warrior training and fail to graduate. Despite completing their training and being named full warriors they are deemed unfit to join any division, leaving them as army reserves with no warrior duties. They are given a second chance to prove themselves and put into an Auxiliary squad and sent on special missions. Virgil arrives in Sonora after hearing of steady work for mercenaries who wished to assimilate into the Sonora army. Needing the steady money and searching for a place to call home. He is paired with Athena and Juarez but often comes in conflict with Juarez who antagonizes him constantly.
