B I O G R A P H Y
Kaiyo has known many things and yet, so little. From the time she hatched from her egg til now, it has been her and her brother, Kori. They weren't the only two of their parent's nest, but when Kori got the idea of traveling, of exploring... Kaiyo couldn't imagine herself not following him. Family stays together, right? A phrase Kaiyo remembering her mother saying and- to her young mind- only made sense. Where her brother went, she would follow...and so, she did. He traveled to many places, Kaiyo never far from his side. Whether they flew by clans or miles of empty land, it was all wondrous, curious...and lucky that Beastclan never got to them, being travelers at so young an age. Their luck carried from their late adolescence right into adulthood. Where Kori eventually lost the traveling spark and wanted to find a home, a new clan to settle into, Kaiyo found herself largely complaint to her brother's whims, even still. Not minding the path or the length of the road, just staying with her brother... One that quickly began to change.

B I O G R A P H Y
It started with the coatl. Don't get her wrong, Benzaiten was- and is- a lovely dragon. Kori adored her gentle, bookish ways from near the get go and Kaiyo was happy her brother found what he wanted so easily! A mate, a home clan... Even Kaiyo could call it home. However, seeing her brother so happy, with a newfound purpose and settling into it with his mate left Kaiyo feeling rather empty. All her life to her brother, practically...and now what? So just as Kori moved in with Benzaiten, Kaiyo eventually moved from the home beside theirs and to a home that better suited her; one on the coast, facing the ocean...and her best choice of a lifetime, in her opinion. Moving to the coast meant enjoying the fresh, crisp ocean breeze every morning. It meant spending time catching fish and collecting shells and pretty rocks; crafting them into trinkets for her home and for others...along with extra fish she caught. Moonbathing became her favorite thing, frolicking joyfully in the gentle light... Why, even meeting a smooth talking Imperial, who ended up introducing her to what it's like to be a parent....and stoked the desire for a more settled family. A mate of her own.

B I O G R A P H Y
These days, dragons can still find here there, within her shoreline home. It's still lovely, and getting lovelier every day, but the quiet speaks loudest of all. It's why she turns to being a...partner, of sorts, for other dragons. Hoping to not only re-experience the joys of being a parent (whether the father wishes to stay or not; considering her first left so soon, she considers it understandable that some might not want the burden as she does), but the thrill of what was before and the dedication of nesting. However, it is an equally good cover to hide her loneliness. The craving to have someone stay by her side, at home by the sea. Where the full moon shines so beautifully on the rolling waves and the night sky is at it's most brilliant. As beautiful as it all has been, there's little more Kaiyo would want from life than to find herself a dedicated partner- one who would accept her love and desire to have hatchlings- and settle down. Be at peace with how her life has gone and- hopefully- be as happy and content as her brother has been. Until that day, she waits in her home by the ocean, listening to the waves as she makes her trinkets.
