A lively and mischievous illusionist originating from the Arcania Tower, Quinn was never one for studying old tomes or sitting under the learning tree of wise scholars when she could be learning by doing and having much more fun in the process. Though hardly rebellious, the fae's restlessness could never be contained by her elders and eventually resulted in her hoping to grow both as a mage and as a person outside of the confines of the Tower.
A master of illusion-based magic, Quinn's magical skill and talent is often underestimated due to her habit of using her abilities for jokes and pranks. Past teachers used to chide her for this "childishness", but the experience she gained from both constant use and figuring out how to pull off more elaborate plans is a large part of why she ended up so skilled in the first place. A dragon with a less stubborn will might've listened to their teachers, though Quinn seldom rolls over when her heart is set on something and has no problems standing up for herself despite her size.
When the energetic obelisk Tydel and her shy pearlcatcher accomplice Iridymus visited the Arcania Tower on one of their wanderings, Quinn stumbled into the former by pure chance. Quinn and Tydel bonded quickly over their mutual enthusiasm for enjoying life and shared sense of humour; in fact, the fae spent the duration of the visitors' stay entirely in their company, quickly finding herself captivated by their stories. Absolutely certain that exploring the world with her new friends would do more for her than staying in the Tower, Quinn insisted that they let her accompany them on their adventures, packing her things the moment they agreed.
Quinn was the one who later brought Ardest into the group, having known the bogsneak from his own stint at the Arcania Tower. The two have become a notorious prankster pair amongst their friends, with Quinn usually acting as the schemer and Ardest rolling with her ideas flawlessly.
