Biography
"You know that feeling you get when you see a lady that could probably crush your head with her thighs alone?"
"That's the same feeling i got when i saw her" ― BlueNeptune
Lore:
vicious. loves her treasure. lives isolated in a fortress of ice. She is the queen of her clan, although very little remains of it. the only living thing she cares about is her familiar, who she leaves most of its care to her staff.
She inherited her throne when her mother passed while leading her army during an attack in the beast clan wars. And while she herself ia a decent warrior, she prefers to keep her clan safe behind frozen fortress walls, because war is a pain and dealing with allies and their enemies ect is annoying and frustrating and with such little benefits in return.
she looks almost twice her actual age, appearing as an old queen when in fact she's still pretty young adult, some regard it due to her constant scowl, others the nature of the ice wasteland.
Her familiars name is Snowscrowl
Short Story
Forkrul was as silent as a stone in her fortress of ice. Her pet Squall Rasa, Snowscrowl, was curled up at her feet, purring softly. For the first time in a long while, everything seemed peaceful.
Out of nowhere, the door burst open. A Pearlcatcher rushed in, pearl tucked under his arm and his mane dishevelled. He skidded to a stop on the slippery floor and bowed his head, panting heavily. Forkrul sighed heavily as Snowscrowl leapt up into her throne with her, shivering.
“What is the meaning of this?” Forkrul growled, running her claws gently through Snowscrowl’s fur.
“There’s been an ambush!” the Pearlcatcher exclaimed between gasps for air. “They’re… They’re headed this way!”
Forkrul scowled and stopped petting her familiar. An attack, especially one right now, was simply unacceptable. She stood and sent Snowscrowl scurrying to another room with a wave of her claws. Striding across the icy floor, she brushed past the Pearlcatcher. “I will see this disturbance for myself before I make any… rash decisions.”
Stepping out onto her balcony, Forkrul surveyed her domain. Everything seemed calm. There were no signs of life, much less an ambush. Growling softly to herself, she turned sharply only to find that the Pearlcatcher was gone. Her eyes narrowed. Now things seemed too quiet.
Silently, Forkrul padded across her throne room, keeping a lookout for anything suspicious. The sound of claws on the ice caused her to jump back and bare her fangs in a snarl. Fortunately, despite looking shaken – and, dare she say, betrayed – it was only Snowscrowl.
Gathering her pet in her arms, Forkrul purred, “Mama didn’t mean anything by it, my precious. There are bad dragons around.”She paused, scanning the room again. “And I will find them,” she added. She set Snowscrowl down and shooed him into another room.
An unnatural thump drew Forkrul’s attention. She slunk closer to the source, then burst into the adjoining room, where she found the Pearlcatcher, a Spiral, and a few Mirrors. Each of them had halted in their tracks, eyes bulging out of their sockets. The Spiral’s tail was coiled around a marble bust of Forkrul’s mother, which had been knocked off of its pedestal. Her ears flattened as she muttered, “Oops...”
Forkrul bristled. “‘Oops’ doesn’t quite cut it,” she snarled. She strode over to the Spiral and snatched the bust out of her grasp. “Now, you will drop anything you may have stolen and leave this place immediately,” she warned. “Or else I will personally put an end to each and every one of your pathetic lives.”
The other dragons scattered, dropping gold and gems in their wake. Forkrul watched them, cradling the marble bust. She jolted, as though just remembering what she had in her claws, and set the piece of art back on its pedestal. No use getting attached to such trivial matters.
