[ Lore ] Faine is an unfortunate Foundling who grew up to be one of Meredith's closest advisors. He is remarkably moral and well-adjusted, all things considered; however, he is very antisocial and reclusive when not doing his job of orchestrating a continued steady state of controlled political anarchy throughout Eidolon. He owns and lives in the tallest Eidolon spire, from which he can survey the entire city.

[ Notes ] • Loathes natural environments as a result of spending the first years of his life in the monstrous clutches of the Garden; as a result, he started out living within Meredith's fractal palace. • Damp greenery sprouts from his scales no matter how hard he tries to get rid of it. • Helped create Deimos and other workers under Meredith's authority. • "Faine is a seraphic resident of the wood and is the nephew to one of the coal-miners. They have a tiny missing scale on their left eye and their python patterns match their snake-like body. They also suffer from minor taurophobia and practice gastromancy, and kind of ventriloquism. They like dappled sunlight splotches that form from holes in caves and trees and adore chilli peppers and dislike football and jokers. Their voice is matter-of-fact and they smell like balsam fir. They are the current champion for most chilli peppers eaten without water and are motivated by music.
