The young dragon coward before him, shivering from fear and cold. Yas liked the cold. The graveyard of icy statues terrified the hatchling. She had seen what happed to her brother. She knew she was next.
“Don’t worry.” Yas said with a malicious grin, “I’m sure it will work this time.”
“Y-y-y-you monster!” She said with a squeak.
“Well that isn’t very nice. Expecially considering your life is in my hands. You don’t want me to get distracted now do you? If that happens you’ll end up like your brother.”’
A few muttered words from Yas and the shivering stopped.
“Well drat! Another ice statue. Oh well, who’s next?”

“My my my! Aren’t you a lucky one!”
The hatchling stood before him a blank look in his eyes. He was ice, but he was alive. He could move, but he did not care, for his heart was frozen. He would never care again.
