After Duskshine's temporally-induced change into a Skydancer and the subsequent reintegration that followed, Clan Rosary was more than ready to have her be the chief and only Skydancer in the clan. Dusk never seemed to have any problem with this— though she was less outwardly introverted than she was when she was a Fae, she still kept mostly within the clan, showing even less interest in relationships with other flights than she had previously.

That was, until she met Bell.

The brightly coloured yellow-and-blue dragon had just evacuated her home days ago. She explained that ever since the progenitors of her first clan - from a fairly influential Lightning Tribe in the Shifting Expanse, where she'd been born and raised - had disappeared, everyone had been left to themselves, herself and her siblings scattering far and wide across the World. She'd been holding refuge with a Nature clan until a lightning storm had struck the pillars that held up the Clan infrastructure down, and this had been regarded as a curse and a geas against the young Skydancer.

Since then, she'd been chased into Lightning territory, and with no family to claim her and little knowledge of how to survive in the sands she'd been born in she'd wandered and wandered, knowing not where she should go, until half-dead and exhausted she'd stumbled into the fringe of Rosarian territory and was promptly found by Dusk.

Bell's story was punctuated with Duskshine prodding her worriedly at systematic intervals, and when she finally finished she very nearly collapsed on the spot. The unanimous decision of Clan Rosary was to let her stay, though more than one dragon was worried that she might show some… eccentric tendencies.

As the days passed, Bell became more and more of a permanent fixture in the clan. She was perpetually curious but knew to keep things to herself; she was good-natured and tolerant of dragons that could be - or were - hard to get along with. Her injuries healed day by day; though she was sick often, and her coughing was dark and rasping as a direct counterpoint to her voice. She loved to sing for others, so this was hard. She was interested in how the Clan worked, and Abrus compliantly showed her; and she was duly fascinated and never spoke of it again.

Dusk, for her part, seemed to want no one to interfere with her - she snapped that expressed an opinion about Bell, and would not speak of her to anyone that mentioned her name. She was immensely protective over her younger counterpart - some pointed out they were awfully affectionate, and were shushed - and the two could be seen preening each other on a daily basis. It was “cute”.

Eventually, the day came that she should leave. Duskshine nudged forlornly at her back; the dragons surrounded them in the increasingly clear discontent in the proceedings of the rites, the younger generation more vocal in their protests than the elders were, who stood around with their ears down and eyes creased with frustration.

First of the dragons to do so, she took a new name - Jiwoo.
