Cyril was born as the runt of the litter to the leaders of a sprawling wildclaw clan in the Snowsquall Tundra. Due to his size, he was rarely sent on patrol like the rest of his peers, and he instead spent his time working with fabrics. He cultivated a talent for designing intricate patterns, even increasing his clan’s popularity with local merchants. In a culture that valued raw strength above all else, Cyril’s success was something of a watershed. Dragons whose talents lay less in the physical began to be more appreciated, and the clan began to recognise the value of art. It wasn’t enough. As the clan continued to grow, food shortages became more of a problem. It was decided that some of the clan would be sent away for the good of the whole, and Cyril was chosen to be amongst them. While most of the others stayed together, in the hopes of starting their own clan, Cyril decided to set off on his own, disillusioned with the culture of his birth clan. Over time, he found his way to the Windswept Plateau. |

Cyril is intensely devoted to his craft, though not to the point of failing to find the joy in it. His works bring the clan a fair amount of attention, and he occasionally sets up shop in Tempest Refuge to sell his tapestries. He enjoys doing his work outdoors, and can frequently be found hanging around by Sunrise Falls, intently focused on a pattern. He’s incredibly picky about his materials, and buys only the finest from vendors like Coraeal. |

Frostbite is Cyril's loyal companion, and his only remaining connection to his birth clan. It was from the bucktooths that he first became interested in weaving, so it's fitting that a daughter of the dam should be his familiar. |

It was a hesitant friendship that Cyril and Sekhmet had at first; they bonded over having grown up in the Southern Icefield, but the wildclaw warrior reminded Cyril of his birth clan, and it took some time for him to warm to her. Now, though, they are good friends, and he's deeply gratified to know that someone like Sekhmet can value him and his skills without reservation. |
