Spirit of the Mirror Maze

Dill is the only living (or unliving, I suppose) evidence of whatever once happened in or to the Mirror Maze. She… has no memory of her life, however (it’s never that easy, is it?). Nonetheless, her existence does prove a few things:
First, it gives us a glimpse into who lived here… a bunch of hatchlings, apparently. Maybe whoever lived here before us had a lot of kids? Was it a massive mobile nursery? This is all speculation, of course.
Second, something arcane was going on here. Whatever magic was in this place was apparently enough to create undead, and the magic residue still means you have to kill that annoying mosquito twice sometimes. You get used to it.
But back to Dill, she’s really your typical hatchling: playful and boisterous. She just happens to be a floating skeleton that will freeze any non-Fire dragons that touch her. She can usually restrain herself before touching someone though, and there’s always a box of firestarters in the first aid cupboard.

If I thought Dill was cold, her familiar is positively frosty. It's like a walking air conditioner, if air conditioners were constructed of bones and necromantic magic. Like its owner, Chilly can and will freeze anything that touches it, as I found out the hard way (and unlike Dill, firestarters weren't enough to unfreeze me; it took the combined efforts of Rykoe and Apophys).
At a passing glance, it appears to be a typical Somber Spirit, but those familiar with draconic anatomy will realise the truth: these mismatched bones once belonged to Dill’s fellow hatchlings. It makes me wonder how many of Dill’s bones are actually hers, and how she remained sentient in her undeath while Chilly didn’t. Or… is Chilly sentient and we don’t know it?
