She sleeps beneath the land and most stay away. In a forgotten cave system, where Plaguelands and the Windsweapt Plateau collide, she resides... slithering her many-eyed body deftly around the stalagmites, whispering forgotten curses into the darkness... to herself or the stone, to the very land itself, no one knows.

Sensible dragons do not go there. Over the ages the tale of her, The Beast Beneath The Stone, have evolved and there are many rumors about her; If you look into her eyes, your sight will wither and you shall live the rest of you life in darkness... If you hear her smooth whispers in the darkness whispered in a language ancient and dark, forgotten by most -- you'll surely go mad.

Sometimes, foolish young dragons dare each other to venture to her caves and look inside. Most of them do not dare venture too far inside. As soon as they see her, slowly circling towards the entrance of the cave with the two blind eyes on her face glowing empty and bright, her many other eyes focused and determined, they turn around and flee.

She likes it like that, left alone with her stone and her darkness. On piles of precious gems she sleeps through that eternal night. Almost lost to the world.
