hsbCndA.gif The son of Andelace the fashion designer and Raolas the metallurgist, Saloar used the teachings of both of his parents to discover and master his trade of gem hunting and jewelry design. He frequently seeks out his mother’s advice in matters of design, and has a bit of a rivalry with Xerxes, the other Museclan jeweler (though her designs are markedly more macabre in nature). Saloar uses his trips out to mines and geological digs not only to unearth jewels for his art, but also to seek information on his father, who went missing several years ago. It was his wish to both reunite with his long-lost father and to become the most respected jewelry designer in all of Sornieth. Now, having achieved the latter, he's mostly retired from his jewelry work in order to travel the world in search of his father.
