Glimmertrail

Lore brainstorming:
- known for leaving a lingering glowing trail/stream of light and glitter behind wherever it had last treaded
- the paths it leaves are known to help lead lost and wary people through the dark and to a safer place (or anywhere so they will no longer be lost)
- following the path is still known to be dangerous, so to follow it is to proceed with caution as the Glimmertrail is skittish and flighty, and is warned to be potentially defensive if it fears it is being followed.
- it is fast and mysterious, rarely having been spotted in the flesh, only known by it's mythical light rail it leaves behind as it seemingly runs at blinding speeds in an aimless manner
- the light trails it leaves behind lingers and only fades once the sun rises (or once light hits in in some way)
- other dragons and beast clans have used it's trails to create pathways of their own, using the trail as a guide to put up lamp posts and clear out a walking path to help wanderers traverse otherwise difficult and hostile terrain.
- the frightening aspect of it's nature itself is ironic considering it too is incredibly anxious and fearful
- it is said that it fears the dark, which may be why it is always running in fear. It is said to potentially rest during the day, sleeping in an unknown place (it is only speculated that it sleeps as it has never been seen sleeping).
- speculation aside, it actually does sleep during the day, but cannot be found easily as it, again ironically, finds a shadowed or dark place to rest while the glowing light of it's body dissipates, making it camouflaged in the dark.
- the only ones who know if it's true nature are it's few rare friends and companions.
- it's somehow simultaneously both light sensitive and Scotophobic
