______ She had been happy once before. Despite both of her parents being gifted with the Sight, they were happy. Her dad protected her mother and her, as Chise attracted both good and bad spirits. After her little brother came home it soon became obvious the spirits weren't leaving. Her father took her brother and left. Chise's mother desperately tried to provide for them and chase off harmful spirits, but she could only do so much. After attempting to kill her, Chise's mother decided death would be her only release. After this Chise was passed from relative to relative, her sight eventually landed her in trouble at each house. Despite trying to make a new life, Chise even considered death before she decided to sell herself. She knew what she was, but not why it was important. Despite selling herself, the staff there were quite nice, even teaching her to read and write in English.

______ During her auction Chise was bought by a tall, mysterious figure. As she was brought into his home she was named his apprentice and learned the path she was now set on. She was set to carry out three tasks during her initial training period. The first took her to the Land of Dragons where she met Lindel. After helping a dragon achieve a last dream she moved onto Ulthar, a village housing the King of Cats. She is tasked with clearing the blight from the town, and succeeds after being attacked and prevented from helping by a Sorcerer and his apprentice.

______ Many dangers and obstacles tried to deter Chise after that, but she evolved and grew. She began to be grateful for the Sight she had and the abilities she was been granted. As time went on she found a familiar and got into more trouble than one might believe. But she did it on her terms. Now she resides at the estate she has come to call home, training with her mentor; Elias Ainsworth.
