Yasha

The most traumatic event of her life brings her back again and again to this point. The bandits pursuing as they fled across the water, their wings growing heavy and their flight dipping almost into the icy waters as exhaustion claimed them. Tas, the strongest flier of the three, dropping back to push Yasha, the weakest, forward as her wings failed her. Realizing after safety had been reached that one of their number was missing.

She returns, after a life lived under the event's shadow, to this point. Ice, cold, water, darkness.

Bandits.

Life is hard in Ice territory. Sometimes, it is easier to take rather than create warmth, food, shelter.

Very few have thought to wonder why no guards appear to be set by the inn's doors. Admittedly, the large guardian at the entry desk is imposing, even if she smiles welcomingly. Admittedly, the guests and staff could be formidable if needed. But, "We've never had any trouble here", they say.

Of course.

Yasha waits outside. Ice, cold, water. Darkness.

The Scarf and Hearth Inn is warm and welcoming. To those that reach it after traveling through the tundra, it is a haven of comforts.

Yasha is not welcoming of bandits.
