Biography

Golem Gauntlet

[ c e l e s t e ]

xxxxxxxxxxx "You wish to hear a tale" she chirps, gleefully tossing herself over a meter high stack of books, grabbing a very particular novel, seventh from the bottom of the pile. Dust smokes around her as she flicks past the prefaces to chapter one.

A she of many tools. Born to a family of engineers of the Shifting Expanse; Stargaze knew from the moment she looked upwards at the once clear sky that she wanted to go further than a dragon had ever been before. Past Sorneith, past the solar system and beyond the cosmos; there was so much more to see of the world, and she immediately took interest to cosmology and engineering in hopes to find her solution to her star bound dreams. She took to screwing every screw, coding every line, wiring each cable to perfection and to great precision. Her parents adored this facination with the 'Beyond the cosmos', treasuring each tiny invention as they watched their daughter grow stronger by day and fall asleep under the stars every night. And of course they were proud of the test results, the studies, the high scores indeed. Whilst her mother encouraged Stargaze's spacecraft from day one, as she grew older her father tried to encourage her over to serve Stormweaver, and create inventions to serve the flight.

Stargaze decided to leave the Shifting Expanse, in hopes to find areas with less electrical interface to buffer her robotics. She travelled to the harsh lands of Dragonhome, a dusty and deserted domain by day but a stargazer's paradise by night. Taking refuge in a small shelter by the pillar of the world, Stargaze began her research immediately.

The night of her arrival a fallen star blundered to the ground revealing a glistening white dragon-like creature. Curiosity took control, and the chase was on. Stargaze flew down to the fleeing star, which ran below the cracks of the Shattered Plains. After caverns upon caverns of travelling she met the figure in a cavern so deep aside from her lanturn spell it would have been completely pitch black, yet between the cracks flowers bloomed.

"Tell me great divine, who are you? Why do you come to our lands?" She asked the darkness. It turned to her, revealing a coatl of ice so cold that from several meters away she could feel the water from her eyes begin to freeze.
"I am all, I am one." The coatl told her coldly, "You are me and I am you, we are the universe. I have come to meet someone."
The coatl shone brightly as it scurried out of the cavern, leaving behind a single frozen ice crystal.

Ever since she has watched every clear night, awaiting the return of the divine. Waiting, alone, in her tower; passing the days by reading books, playing classical music and observing through her telescope. It is a lonely observatory, but the occasional visits from the divine spirit is enough for her.
