Gear

A light hearted individual, Gear spends most of her days toiling in the clan's armory, tending to the flickering fires. Always the optimist, Gear always tries to brighten other's days by offering her help or telling a nice(but often long) story. Slightly clumsy on her feet, Gear is well known for her skills over the fire as well as her ability to trip over nothing.

She is Rio's second apprentice and is already surpassing him and his other apprentice, Sherbet. Despite their varying skills, the three of them get along smashingly. They are the only fire dragons in the clan and have quickly bonded over their distaste for water. Gear especially hates the water since she nearly drowned her first day on the island. Once their work day is over, the three of them sit around the massive furnace and chat the night away.

Aside from her budding talent as a blacksmith, Gear is an excellent cook. If she isn't hovering over an anvil, she is milling around the kitchen, pondering what to serve for dinner. Gear spends a large amount of her free time pouring over cooking books and hunting down ingredients. She is always the first to rummage through the spoils brought back by the hunting and fishing teams.
