Lore
Lady of the Varline Plantation, Mara lives in comfort and little need for anything. She was raised in plush and comfort and continues to live that way thanks to her husband’s tireless efforts on the plantation. However, having been raised in comfort, she believes that she has to be kind to those less fortunate than her. Mara is a very kind Lady of the land, hardly makes demands of her workers. She even brings them in to fashion nice working gloves for them, so their claws don’t get ruined from overwork.
On the side of the Plantation, Mara runs a small tailor shop for herself. She’s very skilled with a needle and thread, and whatever she’s requested to make, she will try to fulfill the order. Being in the apparel business, she has plenty of connections and is always willing to pull a few strings to get her name a little further out there. While it’s mostly a hobby for her now, she enjoys being able to make things and still turn a few coins out from it every once in a while.
She dotes on her children, making them little toys, giving them apparel, making sure they’re never in want for anything. Mara is a very devoted mother, doing everything she can for her babies to let them know how much she loves them, despite rarely saying so.
