Luciouse

Luciouse found his way to an ice lair after weeks of looking for a new home. He went through all different types of lairs, but he never felt comfortable in different lairs than his first home. The problem was, he didnt feel any excitement from staying at his old home, it was all so boring. His parents looked after him way too much, and he felt the need to get away and be on his own. Luciouse might be a stubborn spoiled kid, but when you break his shell and get to know him; you can see his true self.

When he came to the Icewarden, he was sure that this is yet another place he'll just be passing by. It was too cold- he couldnt even imagine how someone can feel warmth and love in here, feel welcome. So he didnt stop if he didnt have to, it was only for short breaks and some rest. That was until he catched a glimse of a big bonfire, it lit up the it's surroundings and there was small fireflies all around it. It was a magical view, and he couldnt help but get drawn towards it...

The other dragons was more welcoming than he wouldve ever imagined, and a strange feeling kept lingering in the back of his mind the whole time. It wasnt until he had to leave again that he understood what it was. That's when he knew. He knew he had to stay, cause he realised this; this feels like home.

He grew to love and cherish everyone in the clan, and he held them all very dear. An emptiness he had always felt for so long, which had become a feeling he got used to, was now gone. It felt weird, but he felt free. He felt such happiness, but it was hard for him to explain exactly what he was feeling. He just simply put it as love. Because that was what is was, right? He had never experienced such feelings before, so he could only guess - but he was very sure, it was love.

He got more and more comfortable in the clan, but there was still a part of him that was scared to show himself, his true self. Would they judge him? Would they maybe tell him to leave? Would they start hating him? His thoughts was a mess, and soon enough he couldnt take it anymore. He went to Ignacie, he's always been the one he was most comfortable around. Ignacie was always welcoming to everyone. He was a stuttering mess, which Ignacie found adorable. Luciouse didnt really know how to put it, and the first words that came to him fell out of his mouth before he could think twice.

"I like men."

Ignacie looked at him without saying anything, which made Luciouse even more nervous.

"I-I mean, I don't want to be with any of the women in the clan- w-well I'm not saying I don't want kids, I just- sorry.."

He was about to turn away in embarrassment, but he stopped in his steps when he heard a deep chuckle leave Ignacie. He turned around again, a little hesitant. Ignacie smiled warmly at him, and he couldnt help but smile himself. Ignacie didnt have to say much to Luciouse for him to understand; Ignacie didnt have a single problem with it, and that made him feel so much better.
Ignacie stood by his side through it all, when he came out to the rest of the clan - only for seconds later to be in the middle of a warm and loving group hug. They couldnt help but think of little Luciouse as a stuttering cuteness where he stood in front of the whole clan one night, telling his deepest secret to them all. Ignacie also stood next to him when he was over at Gloria's sew corner, where his outfit was made. It was so personal to Luciouse, it would show his true colours and blend in beautifully with his body.

He was almost whole, he was just missing one thing. A beautiful young love. Would he ever have a lover?
