Shatterglass is the clan's historian. She's close friends with Tekir and Chrysea, and they edit each others' manuscripts in a monthly writer's group they take turns hosting. She and Pleather are working on a book on the history of alchemy; Pleather works on reconstructing the tools that ancient dragons or the peoples in the destroyed cities may have used, while Shatterglass records her results and keeps Pleather's notes together and not on fire. Shatterglass also helps out in the garden occasionally, though she is not as knowledgeable about plants as Maydonoz.
