Biography
Where's That Funny Bone?
From the day Genevieve was born, neither of her parents wanted much to do with her. Gone were their delicate golds, pinks and blues, the soft shimmers and gentle tricks of the light that danced on scale and feather. Genevieve, with only the shine of used coal, wasn't exactly what they had in mind for their legacy. In particular, her mother despised her, and eventually had to be driven away from the clan after attempting to kill her. Even so, back then she loved them both, enough to plead for her mother's life in exile instead of execution. Her father simply left, not long after.
Of course, nowadays there's no love lost. She is more than happy scurrying around the burial grounds, teasing her lover and boss Cheryl into blushing anger and throwing terrible puns at any visitor who is not there to grieve. Genevieve has little time for gawking tourists who come to see how Clan Dragonblight cares for their dead, and would much rather have the grounds all to herself - and Cheryl, of course. The two can often be found taking part in various rituals, which often involve daubing the ashes of the dead along her wings, so that they are carried away by the breeze as she flies.
Despite her otherwise carefree nature, there's one task she takes very seriously - Emperor prevention. The apparent death of Flashdance is a tragedy. The inability to find her body however is a disaster waiting to happen and is intolerable for her. She is therefore leading the charge alongside Galedilocks on locating Flashdance - as well as tracking down her wayward mother, who has vanished and may have died as well, though she dearly hopes that is not the case. Not so she can reconcile, but more to correct a mistake...
