Pleather is known for her (often literally) groundbreaking alchemical experiments. She collaborates with Teeple on engineering projects, who in return replaces her exploded or melted equipment when necessary, though she refuses to help out in the laboratory for some reason... luckily, Caliban is usually happy to lend a claw. When she needs plant expertise, she consults with Maydonoz and Tekir, though she is quite emphatically not allowed in the garden. Maydonoz also helps her pick out the best plants to give as gifts to her very absentminded wife, as Shatterglass is liable to forget to water her plants for weeks at a time--Pleather and Teeple are working on an automatic watering system for her.
