"A New Moon is Rising." - Diana Diana's calling has always been to worship the moon. And yet, despite this calling, there was one more. One in her heart that she found she could no longer ignore. It called out to her, over and over. No matter how hard she tried to ignore it, it returned, over and over and over again. It was relentless, determined to be heard, and the she found that, one day, she could no longer ignore the call. A Star to Her Orbit "The moon...also rises." Diana murmured to herself, looking towards the heavens as the world became bathed in the cool silver light of the moon. "But...it is given light by its sun." "Is...am I your sun?" Leona was watching Diana with a mixture of curiousity and unabashed adoration, and Diana froze momentarily. Had she...really said that out loud? She blinked, finally looking down at her claws, finding their sharp tips and fine curves quite fascinating all of a sudden. What could she do? How was she supposed to respond? It wasn't like Leona was incorrect, either. Every moon needed a sun in order to shine its brightest. If she was the aspect of the moon, Leona was her sun. A Necessary Sacrifice Despite what Diana had done, no matter what she did, Leona's love never faltered. And when she found her newest calling was among the ranks of Oceanspray's clan, Leona followed her without hestiation, and they settled down here together. Now, they work to make a life for themselves, training in the colliseum together to earn a living and nesting happily at night, content, safe, and warm here. Diana knew she would never be alone again.
