B I O G R A P H Y

Iniqui is the true progenitor of the Clan, ranking above even Grimlealis. She created Grimlealis in fact, and has powers unknown to even her. The truth is that no one even expected her to be real, but when she possessed the Vessel presented to her as tribute, that’s when everyone knew. Iniqui is real, and she is not to be trifled with.

Her Vessel was simply a Dragon who had the right colors. She had been taken in for the role of becoming the Vessel, and had many different spells cast on her. Shadow Runes here, a spell to change her into Metal there, and it all culminated in her becoming the Metallic Fey that she was. The perfect host for the dark being Iniqui.

The truth is, it’s hard to gage what makes those traits perfect for Iniqui. Even now that she has a Vessel, few Dragons are considered “Worthy” enough to meet with her. Despite what it had seemed, it was true enough that Iniqui has strange and particular tastes, but with power like hers, it cannot be said that she is without cause for acting high and mighty.

B I O G R A P H Y

Many Dragons actually believe that Iniqui is a threat to Dragonkind, and that she may cause the end of a good portion of creatures. They are not without fact, but Iniqui has chosen to restrict her powers within the Vessel as a sign of good will. Even still, a great number of Dragons are either wary of her, or attempt to discover evil plots of hers to sabotage. Not adding to Iniqui’s credibility, many of such Dragons go missing.

How Iniqui became so powerful is a matter that has perplexed many Mythologists. While the common theory is that she was blessed by the Shadowbinder, many refute this idea by stating that she bears no marks of such a blessing. A popular belief is that she gained this power from conflict, going so far as to have been an ancient plague on Dragons, explaining her preference for Vessels that have Blood Red scales. Unless she were to actively say it now, the truth will continue to elude.

However, it is not all without hope. A new place was discovered not long after Iniqui left, a cave filled with Arcane Crystals. Apparently, this is the location of where Iniqui’s original form was, and is considered sacred ground for the Clan, and off limits to those outside of the Clan. In addition, even members of the Clan are not let inside, and only Grimlealis and Iniqui herself may enter. What secrets that lie within are unknown, but it is theorized that whatever is in there contains the secret to Iniqui’s immense power.
