Camil was hatched in an Arcane-based clan, but the clan moved to Earth almost immediately after his hatching, so he spent very little of his hatchling years in his birth territory. He was never a fan of how drab and empty Dragonhome was, however, and would often resort to mushing up berries and bugs to use as paint.
This rather annoyed his clanmates. Poor guy. They still loved him though, but he wanted to find somewhere more… exciting, I guess?
Camil is a budding artist, and much of the lair’s decor can be credited to him. He’s rather fond of painting--the colors on his wings aren’t markings, but paint. He’s rather excitable and trusting, eager to please everyone. No wonder Kayhen caught him...
EDIT: Camil has decided to strike off on his own. The "why" isn't clear, but he seems excited. Whether he wants to find a buyer for his art or he just wants to find someone who will pay attention to him... I'm not sure, but I wish him luck anyway.

Travelling Tales: Deerteeth's Lair GAINED ITEM =
Setting out for adventure was a tough decision to make, but a necessary one. Camil felt the best idea was to head for the lands of the Arcane, to perhaps find himself in his homeland and expand his understanding of what art can be. After arriving, he was inexplicitly drawn to the lone tower, stark against the heavens and home to a clan of dragons that lived and breathed arcane magic. Lost to time in the ancient Observatory, this clan hunted together, explored together and slept for what felt like several ages. Camil was welcomed warmly and assured that no time spent there would be too long. He committed himself to studies of the Arcane during his stay, learning much about magic, time and the mysteries of the stars. Combining his passions in art with his new love of the sky and magic, Camil has made many works that some would consider timeless masterpieces. Impassioned to learn more about the world, and after many years of arcane study, Camil bids farewell to his Observatory home. Before parting, he gifts his finest work to the found family he stayed with, and they hang it with pride in the heart of their home, thinking of him whenever they watch the blazing galaxies swirl within the frame. |
