Lunarch While she is Queen now, the crown was never meant for Enyara’s head. Born weak, sickly, and worst of all, last, her elder brother had been the most likely candidate to succeed their father. The previous King loved her very much, enough to take the gigantic risk of hiring a fledgling alchemist to keep her alive, at great personal expense. Despite Onyx’s care, she was still extremely weak, and the emotional blow of the sudden deaths of both the King and the Crown Prince almost killed her. With her being the only living heir, she and Seraphine, her beloved, decided to make the ultimate sacrifice for the good of the clan. Onyx led a dark, forbidden ritual, taking the majority of Seraphine’s life force to strengthen the ailing Lunarch, leaving Seraphine as a mostly mindless husk. It brought Enyara from the verge of death, but her body was not prepared for the power of two souls, causing it to crack in places. Locked away in one of the lesser-visited wings of the palace, neither the clan nor the Queen speak of Seraphine anymore. Perhaps knowing it wasn't destined for her, the political power it bestows is hardly Enyara's to wield either. The tithes and offerings are in her name, and she attends court every day, but how odd it is that she is never seen without one of her advisors at her side, always ready to whisper in her ear, prepare her speeches, or ferry her to her chambers when she becomes too tired to continue proceedings. It is indeed incredibly convenient that her fainting spells occur right as she begins to go off script, or when negotiations stop going the way her Gemstones want them to. Perhaps a visit to one of them would tell you more. |

Personality
Enyara, despite her troubles, is sweet and incredibly easy to make laugh. She always seems a touch absent-minded though, as if she's elsewhere much of the time. She adores food and art, and often hires the best chefs and musicians across the Tangled Wood to entertain visiting dignitaries, as often as she possibly can. Friendly and social, she relishes any opportunity to have people visit the palace, due to her illnesses not allowing her to leave very often.
