Biography

"Yamiso....Yamiso...." The phantom masked wildclaw male hurried over to his mate who sat by the last remaining egg, her large body wrapped around the nest and her tear filled eyes finding Yamiso's.
"He's not doing to make it...you know it...it's been two days since the others hatched...He's dead..." Yamiso stared at Lumiere before turning and vanishing out of the den as Lumiere sobbed, refusing to accept that the egg even existed. The imperial left a couple hours later, finally accepting the hatchlings death. But...little did she know...the baby was alive but not physically...a few moments passed and the egg began to glow a light blue before a tiny figure drifted out and rested on the ground. It was still before it let out a weak chirp and rightened itself. The egg from which it came vanished and the room was now only illuminated by the small ghostly hatchling. It began to cry, as all hatchlings do at birth, then stopped, suddenly calm. It wasn't hungry. No. It was lonely. Where was his mother? His father? He stood and yelped in alarm when he floated up, turning upside down. It took his several minutes to get used to his light form but soon he was drifting down the hatchery tunnel and out into a dark world. Small fires burned around ring of tents and huts where the little ghost heard rumbling snores of sleeping dragons. His mother must be here somewhere. Then he heard crying. Deep mournful lows that hit the little child in his heart. That sound only came from grieving mothers. He floated over to a large hut made of sticks, mud, and rags and peeked inside, before rushing in, chirping at the massive female he only knew was his mother. The dragon looked up and stared with bloodshot eyes, her slitted pupils growing round in fear.
"Y...Yamiso!?" She cried and a large wildclaw ran in, the phantom mask he had on causing the little baby ghost to squeak in fear and back away.
"Not possible...He's only a hatchling...no Emperor can be created from a hatchling...BEGONE!" Yamiso screeched and the small ghost cried before vanished through the wall of the hut and disappearing into the night.
Two Months Later
"I drift...this is all I know...no one knows me but....I know them." The ghostly imperial floated through the outer edges of the Wispwillow Grove, his body flickering in an out of view as he hummed faintly, causing little creatures to flee and larger one to growl. A small note played and his loyal familiar, a Ghosthost Viola named Loon, continued his lonely tune, staying close to his transparent master. A loud crack shattered the male's dismal tune and he drifted up into a tree, watching as a nocturne dressed in strange apparel flitted into view, purple cards floating about him as his crazy Spidered Seat familiar followed in pursuit. The Nocturne stopped under the tree the ghost was hiding and let out a horrific laugh, sending shivers through the imperials body.
"This is it Trap. This is what I've been looking for. Let's go and give Junebug the surprise of her life!" The nocturne giggled manically and the ghost saw his slip one of the most poisonous plants he knew into his pouch before streaking away, his little familiar rushing after him. For the first time in his life, the imperial felt awake and desperate. That dragon was planning to kill! Without thinking, he rushed after him, making sure Loon stayed quiet. They traveled for several hours, leaving the Shadow realm behind and entering the Plaguebringers domain. It was dawn before the ghost watched the crazed nocturne vanish into a well hidden hole in the ground, just big enough for a full grown imperial to slip through and covered with giant rotting bones and an expertly woven net.The ghost smiled and drifted through the net, for once happy to be transparent. A low chuckle sounded ahead and he made himself invisible before continuing, keeping close to the walls just in case he ran into anyone.
"Junebug! I have a gift for you!" The ghosts ears perked up and he rushed forward, blowing into a giant cavern and flaring his wings in front of the Coatl female who was about to take the poisonous plant.
"Excuse me?" A high voice growled as he turned, looking down at the Coatl.
"Mistress those plants are-"
"I know what they are you big-WHO ARE YOU!?" A vicious looking mirror rushed out of a tunnel nearby and the ghost vanished, fleeing up and towards the light above before he slammed into a wall of purple light and falling back down, groaning. But...he could go through walls...why-"
"Oh my..." A light voice whispered and the imperial got up, shaking himself before trying to jump again only to slam into the purple wall again and shrieking in anger before freezing in fear. An imperial, even bigger then him, loomed outside of the orb he was trapped in, its head covered in large glowing spikes and a pink halo floating over his head. His lips curled back and he growled, drawing his claws closer together and making the barrier shrink even more, the ghost now panicking and slamming himself into the walls, screaming.
"ARC! STOP!" The large imperial sat down and released the barrier slightly, not moving his gaze from the intruder as a pale figure came out of the smallest den.
"Wow...so it's true...a ghost but...how is that even possible...dead imperials usually become...emperors..." The female voice followed the figure and the ghost could see it was a giest, the beings who cared for clan lairs when needed.
"What is your name?" She asked and the imperial shook his head.
" I don't have a name nor a home. I don't even know what I am..." He swallowed back tears, not wanting to show weakness.
"Arc let him go please." Arc growled softly before waving away the cage, then turning and disappearing into a tunnel, his halo casting a pink light around him. A very concerned familiar rested on the ghosts neck and its little shadowy claws embraced his masters neck before it turned and played an angry tune. The giest smiled and stroked the Violas strings which seemed to instantly calm it and it rested on the ghosts back as he watched, amazed.
"Would you like a home?" The imperial looked at the giest, shocked.
"You mean...as in stay here?" She smiled and nodded.
" You do have the eyes of a plague dragon. I believe you'll find yourself right at home here and I believe I even have apparel that would suit you quite well. I'll even give you a name. How about Ghast?" The imperial beamed and laughed, everyone gasping as he seemed to swell with color and his snake-like patterns blossomed into view.
"I'd love that. I'd love that very much."
"Then welcome to your new home Ghast.
