Biography

Nekua and his mate experimented a bit too much with spirit projection and ended up permanently disembodied. They inhabit the skeletons of dead skydancers and are hoping to establish a new clan of dragon-kind, literally as spirits-in-skeletons. Entirely ignoring the irony of that being the natural state of all dragons, of course. Nekua doesn't think being dead should stop him from looking fine, so he makes a more regal ghost to his mate's litch-inspired aesthetic.

Both dragons feed on latent spirit energy to keep their forms, so they have a lively trade with both the treasure-hunters and the star-watchers; the first for spirit-imbued artifacts to consume and the second for new soul-strengthening magicks. Eventually someone's going to get eaten by a monster, but until then the pair are having a very good time.
