B I O G R A P H Y

______ Princess Zelenika Calyx, formerly Viscountess of Shadows, is the wife to the young Prince Cythasos Calyx, with whom she shares Princess Sithika and the twins Salika and Sihaya. Her marriage to Cythasos was arranged as a political union, and due to Zelena's unpredictable upbringing, she was secretly terrified of being married off to a stranger and into an unknown family.
______ As the Calyxes were surprisingly delightful to Zelena, her anxiety slowly eased, a process that was alleviated by Cythasos's patience and understanding for his new wife. As Zelena slowly grew accustomed to and fond of her new life, so too did she find a place in her heart for Cythasos. This arranged union has turned into one of love, evident through the couple's decision to give their sole child a name derived from both of their own.
______ Zelena and Cythasos enjoy a high status with the Calyx Court--he is the top strategist and advisor, and Zelenika--for her grace and elegance, strength and will--is seen as the embodiment of House Calyx's values and virtues, and is almost seen as a shadow queen herself, although everybody knows that the position belongs to Queen Dunyasha, and eventually, her daughter-in-law Cresselia. Yet Zelenika and Cythasos's popularity and value to the Calyx Court only grow stronger with each day...

______ Viscountess Zelenika Silvershadow Chalcedony is the daughter of Polaris Chalcedony and Cobaltia, Duchess of Shadows. The Viscountess goes by the name of Zelena Silvershadow, Viscountess of Shadows. She grew up without her father; although her mother and younger sister, and the rest of the family, treated her lovingly and well, Zelena has always yearned to meet her father. She has tried to convince her mother to allow Zelena and her sister Dytara to visit her father; however, the Duchess remains unconvinced.
When she is of age and the timing is deemed suitable, Viscountess Zelena will leave behind the Empire to marry Prince Cythasos Calyx, a marriage alliance of great strategic important to the Silvershadow Empire. She is unsure about his streak for mischief and penchant for rebellion, but is assured by their shared values and priorities of family. Zelenika is now closer to Cythasos, and feels safe, protected, and comfortable around him.
