Fae was hatched to a pair of traveling magicians who were far more traveled than they were talented with true magic. Her parents were mostly only able to entertain and trick and formed an act for a traveling circus for a time which fed her childhood imagination. This carnie background explains Fae’s lasting fondness for the performing arts as well as her open-mindedness towards dragons considered “different” (she has a very short patience for those who mock others’ quirks).

What has changed is that her adult self is much more of a homebody, she has a permanent residence on the inner edge of Gimshaw that she shares with her partner Avalon. She's a certainly a gregarious soul but likes her living situation to be more quiet so she can concentrate on her projects. Most of her traveling nowadays is her daily flight to the city where she has a position as costume director for the Orrery Theatre. She occasionally journeys abroad but it is infrequent and often linked to sampling fabrics for work or meeting up with old friends.

Fae has a genuine knack for magic, probably partially due to her hatching in the Starfall isles (unlike her mother). Her use of it is intuitive, not requiring a spellbook just willpower, but the application tends to only be domestic such as freeing her hands as she tailors a garment or sweeps a room.
