Biography

74.png
His attacks are as soft and silent as a lover's sigh
and will just as surely stop the heart's beating.

Poison previously came from a clan in the Sunbeam Ruins, but he does not often talk about his time there. His silence leads to speculation on the part of his peers. They wonder what conditions he lived under to have honed his deadly craft. He moves like an assassin, and speaks like a scholar. His demeanor lacks the ferocity of the other mirrors. Skilled in battle, but he does not revel in it. He is adept at finishing targets after they have been corralled and hampered by other warriors. Most of those he slays never see him. Poison is not used during hunts, however - as his name suggests, he does his work with deadly compounds which often render meat unsuitable for consumption.

Many of the mirrors fear him because he is hard to read. He spent most of his life as a Pearlcatcher, and so does not utilize the body language and customs that mirror dragons are used to. He is not really as frightful as he first appears. He is close with Kokoro, but even she does not know his whole story, only that his pearl was lost, and he was forced to flee the Sunbeam Ruins. He speaks with fear of the one who has his pearl now, and does not name him.

To stop the agony of living without his pearl, he used alchemy to transfigure himself into a Mirror dragon.
