Biography
An unfriendly looking golden dragon yanks open the door.
"Hello, I'm Radiance, the leader of the council.
I assume you're not here on actually important business... Snowfox mentioned something about dragons prancing around collecting things. Guess who was put on duty.
Apparently, my intelligence network isn't important enough for her to keep running right now. Hmm... what would you like? I could let you step inside the clan's grounds like Snowfox requested, but I'd have to run a background check on you first. Sorry, not sorry. It's standard procedure. However, if you'd like to avoid all the hassle, I could spare a few, uh, goodies in exchange for not telling Snowfox..."
In his flipped life, Radiance is the esteemed leader of the Guild of Lawyers and the Mayor of Level One. He has an enormous office in Marylton, and he and the others help protect Frank and Frank Law Firm's portal from those seeking to use it.
The Guild of Lawyers is an immaculate place, almost bigger and more beautiful than town hall. The marble floors are lined with offices as lawyers storm around on the phone, talking to each other, or eating from the free food that is catered into the service.
You get the sense that being a lawyer is quite a lucrative profession. You go up to the front desk, and the assistant, assuming you want to join, slides you the office number of Radiance, the leader of the Guild. Then she turns back to her phone call. You manage to find the office, a large, wooden library with an enormous desk.
A dragon sits at the desk, wearing a flowing robe and writing quickly. He looks up as you enter and slowly exhales.
"I suppose the front desk assistant gave you my office number?" He asks dryly, then grimaces. "I'll have to tell her not to do that in the future. But, luckily for you, I do have a few copies of the bar exam with me. You'll have to take it if you want to join the Guild. Unless you're actually here on important matters?"
When taken to the dungeons:
The police dragged Dust away, dumping him in the Town Dungeons.
Radiance, the leader of the Guild of Law and mayor of the town, looked down on Dust before he was cast into the deep, dark, slimy pit.
"You may hire a lawyer," Radiance informed him, "and you have the right to remain silent. You will not be able to get out until you pay the lawyer fee to get a lawyer to convince a jury that you should stay out of jail. It will be 7 for one of our trainees, 12 for one of our firm members, and 15 for one of our senior partners- I recommend a senior partner, as they have the highest chance of succeeding. If you can't afford a lawyer, do remember that you can work from jail- but the Guild receives half of whatever you make."
Radiance smiled, shrugging easily. "Call up the guards when you're ready to hire us."
With that, he smiled, and, with a swirl of his robes, strode away. The three guards enclosed on Dust and tossed him into the pit in the ground, standing guard around it.
