ABOUT.
An old, old guard, map-maker and hermit, and one of the original members of the clan which would become Thanatos after eons of change. He has stood rigid throughout, a quiet glacier, but as the kingdom expanded, and so too has he changed with the times. Shor was once a mighty Imperial with a mane like the setting horizon ablaze, but shaking off his melancholy- he changed his form to a far smaller one. He's not entirely used to the heat vision, but it has given him a new lease on life.

Whilst he has all his old maps, and occasionally makes more, meticulous and perfect when he does, now he is the one teaching any new recruits, and any new children brought to him. He offers education to anyone brought under their banner, and he is a calm and understanding man, perfectly suited for such a thing. Reading, writing, history, geography, simple mathematics, all given their due time and concentration. He has a wry sense of humour, though some would say he is a little too gentle to be surrounded by mercenaries. It's not a case of being sheltered, but rather that so much cruelty has come to pass that now he shies from it, shutting his eyes tight to it's presence.

Routine brings regularity, and everyone knows that once this is halted, he draws into himself like an infinite well, melancholic and saddened until he can be drawn out again. Fortunately, this is none too hard. He has never taken pains to hide his love for hatchlings, and any of his young students can coax him out of any slumps with their little teeth and wings batting his paws. Although he often aches, knowing what this world holds and what horrors those he teaches may stumble into, he takes his duty to prepare them in their education with deathly seriousness. Ignorance may be bliss, but it is dangerous; education is the cure.

TRIVIA.
• When in draconic form he forgets how much smaller he is now and is surprised to not bump into things.
• His students are often gifted special treats from the Teahouse, courtesy of his wife.
• A very heavy sleeper, late to rise and late to sleep. This doesn't seem to be a choice of his.
• Still has a rather magnificent beard, carefully trimmed in silver.
• Puts up with ribbing from his friends about what a grumpy old man he is, despite being the youngest of their little circle.
