Eurydice came from the icy floes of the Icewarden's domain, but was seized with the desire to travel closer to the forests for reasons she could not explain. She felt pulled forward, making her way through the woods, watched by many pairs of eyes as she made her advance. She came upon a new clan, and her eyes fell upon what she could only call home. Her heart sang, and so she opened her mouth to give voice to her heart. She was welcomed to the clan without question.

Geralt and Thrawn turned back to the prone dragon they'd left in the care of the healers. If that wasn't the cause of their fallen comrade....
Then where was the mimic now?
The hunter paused, his head tilted as he listened. Thrawn didn't ask, only listened as well.
It was an eerie singing, and an even eerier music.
The voice was familiar, but distorted, as if at the bottom of a well. The music sounded like a violin, but lighter, and ephemeral, as if the bow were not completely touching the strings. Both music and voice hung in the air and seemed to dance on the chilly breeze, and it made the hackles of both Skydancers rise.
They moved through the clan's territory towards the sound. Members of the clan looked up in confusion, but knew better than to get in the way of Geralt and Thrawn when they were determined and on the hunt.
Near the edge of the woods, a figure danced. Eerie lights swirled about the large, lithe figure, and the sounds of chains and jewels clinking timed with the music. The Imperial was dancing, her wings spread, throat undulating with her song, and at her feet, a mimic in the shape of a violin was playing.
"Eurydice," Geralt said softly.
She paid them no heed, dancing and singing in time with the mimic, clearly manipulated by the creature. She just continued to sing and dance as it willed. Thrawn's face was deadpan as he made the motion.
Geralt was a blur as he drew his sword and sliced neatly through the mimic- which didn't have time to react as the Hunter attacked. It let out a scream as it dissipated, and was gone in a blur of smoke and splinters of wood.
Eurydice stopped dancing and blinked, confused.
"What... what happened?" she asked.
"It's alright," Thrawn soothed, breathing a sigh of relief as he looked over his shoulder to see their fallen comrade had regained their senses.
"It's over."
