Mirage - an optical illusion, a wish that can't be granted
  • Her necklace is a brilliant gem made of jade. It was her bulba, given to her by her mother, Anima, when she was born. Her necklace glows a more vibrant shade of jade than any other. She never takes it off, though for anyone outside the Psyche gens, it is often a mystery as to why she is so protective of it. The secret behind the necklace is this: due to her ability to control spirits, when her mate Zagreus died, she sealed his soul inside her necklace, with his consent. Due to his sealing, he can't completely fade away. However, because Zagreus wasn't a Stygian, Mirage can't communicate with him well since his spirit can't endure the Rift's energies as well a Stygian's could. Still, the two of them will be able to stay together until Mirage passes.
